Description

Early example of the Singer 12 sewing machine. This one dates from 1874. The machine is complete except for the on of the shuttle cover needle plates. These do come up for sale on Ebay regularly. Machine turns but stiff. Nothing at all has been done to the machine after it was found. Handle of the wooden case is also missing but again easy to replace if you wish to do so. A collectors piece.
Of course I can not guarantee the machine in anyway as it is well over a 100 years old. All that I can tell you is that it is a good working machine but it does need some T.L.C.  I once had a lot of problems with a buyer who couldn’t get the tension right on an antique machine. So please be aware that you are buying an old machine. The machine is in complete , original untouched and unrestored condition.
